Emily does something physical to stop her ever-whirring mind. For her, it can be anything, including taking a sledgehammer to her wall or putting up a shelf.
Becky has used exercise “almost like breathing” as a survival mechanism to switch off her mind and uses it as a buffer from work to bed.
Amy has to exercise before mid-day and she loves to walk.
