Shivani Lamba: Keeping your mind where your hands are

Shivani Lamba, Founder, Brightlobe, was born in Sweden to Indian parents, moved to London then the States. By a very young age she was coding, then researching at the National Institute of Health at age 16. She attributes this to knowing at an early age that it was up to her “to make a life for herself”.

Whilst working at the NIH, Shivani became interested in the long term impact of children being out of school, after a long journey the ideas around this become the educational games that she creates with the team at Brightlobe.

She discusses biohacking, optimising her physical and mental health and why she is remaining positive about the impacts of students being out of school due to COVID-19.
